DINO was born from a lifetime of color, nostalgia, energy, and imagination.

Growing up as a triplet — and the youngest of six — life always felt loud, layered, and larger than life. But learning to express individuality with confidence didn’t come easily. For years, color, creativity, and excitement stayed mostly internal. DINO became the outlet for all of it.

The inspiration behind DINO comes from everywhere — Saturday morning cartoons, sci-fi worlds, and colorful characters that felt like lifelong friends. Music playing from the FM radio in the garage while a 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme sat with the hood open. The fearless style, innovation, and energy of ‘80s pop culture. And the lasting impression of a gym duffle bag from the racquetball club.

DINO is where those worlds meet.

Some of my earliest memories begin with a car.My father's 1964 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 seemed enormous through the eyes of a little boy. The long hood, the wide seats, the smell of summer, the radio playing Motown as we drove through town—those moments felt ordinary then, but they've become extraordinary with time.I don't remember every destination.I remember feeling safe because my dad was behind the wheel.That car represented freedom before I even understood what freedom meant. "Flightline"

One of my favorite childhood outings didn't cost anything.My family would drive near O'Hare Airport and simply watch airplanes.I could have stayed there for hours.Every airplane represented another adventure.Another family.Another story unfolding somewhere in the world.I'd imagine where each flight was headed and what the people onboard might experience once they landed.Without realizing it, those afternoons planted something inside me that has never gone away.Curiosity.Wonder.The excitement of discovering somewhere new.Flightline isn't about airplanes.It's about imagination.It's about understanding that the world is much bigger than the one you know—and believing that one day, you'll get to explore it.Atlas — 21" × 11½" | 32LAll DINO bags are handcrafted — each size is a close estimate and may vary slightly.

"Parkside"

Parkside is inspired by the picnics we went on as kids. My mom would pack Creamette salad, fruit salad, along with pretzels and cherries or watermelon and the delicious ham and swiss sandwiches with mustard, baked on top of French bread. We would walk to the neighborhood liquor store for orange or strawberry pop, then carry everything to the park for the afternoon. We would play softball in the lot across the street and sometimes volleyball. Pink Skies is inspired by the summer days we spent outside with the kids in our neighborhood. We would ride our bikes, play at their fort, or gather in the front parkway for games of Running Bases.When the sky started turning pink, we would head inside for dinner, then meet back outside while there was still some light left. Sunburst is inspired by the long summer days we spent in the backyard while my mom hung laundry on the line. We would go outside to keep her company, read, or play with the dogs or our toys. As we got older, we eventually found ourselves hanging our own laundry beside her.I remember how refreshing the sun felt and how easy it was to sit outside for hours with my boombox, listening to freestyle music.
